Ivan Rakitic and Stephane M'Bia swap SHORTS in a dramatic fashion

Ivan Rakitic and Stephane M’Bia took post-match shirt swapping to a new level on Wednesday night as the pair decided they also wanted each other's shorts after Croatia defeated Cameroon.

Despite Rakitic's Croatia thrashing M'Bia's side 4-0 and eliminating the Indomitable Lions from the World Cup, the two former Sevilla players could still share a friendly chat before stripping down to swap kit.

Both players were vital to Sevilla's Europa League success last season, but Unai Emery's will almost certainly lose both players with Rakitic signing for Barcelona and M'bia returning to parent club QPR.

Croatia eased to victory against a poor Cameroon side as goals from Ivica Olic, Ivan Perisic and a double from Mario Mandzukic secured three points for Niko Kovac's side.

Cameroon started the Group A match without the injured Samuel Eto'o, and finished it without midfielder Alex Song.

With the score only 1-0, Song was given a red card in the 40th minute for elbowing Mandzukic in the back in an off-the-ball incident.

A bogus bride and groom have been jailed after rounding up guests for their sham wedding - from a local bus stop.

Uzoma Onwuha, 30, and Robert Horvath, 35 exchanged vows at Cardiff register office, in front of strangers they'd met on the way to their ceremony in Cardiff, Wales.

But Nigeria-born Onwuha had paid Horvath £1,000 to marry her so that she could get the necessary paperwork to stay in Britain.

Staff at the register office soon became suspicious because the 'couple' couldn’t give basic details about each other.

Later, a police investigation showed that one guest revealed that he was invited after the pair found him at a bus stop nearby.

Onwuha caught a bus back to her home in London alone where she was arrested.

Meanwhile, Horvath was seized in a raid on his home in Newport, South Wales, where he was found living with another woman.

Prosecutor Jeremy Jenkins said: 'There were only six guests at the wedding.

'But they were unable to answer police questions such as where the other guests were from.

'One guest said he had been invited to the wedding after a random meeting with the bride and groom at a bus stop.'

Onwuha, who came to the Britain on a student visa, admitted obtaining leave to enter or remain in the UK by deception.

Horvath, a Czech Republic native who has lived in Britain since 2000, admitted assisting unlawful immigration.

They were each jailed for 12 months and told to pay £225 to cover prosecution costs.

Judge Phillip Richards said: 'Horvath got a financial reward from a woman who could scarcely afford that money. For him it was a money-making exercise. For her it was a money-losing exercise.

'Those who deceive in order to benefit in such a way are creating serious crimes. There is already enough criminal activity going on in the UK,'

Upon serving her sentence, Onwuha will be released into immigration custody and steps will be taken for her to be returned to Nigeria.

Sudanese Meriam Ibrahim`s supporters release shocking video of a woman flogged in public.

Cowering and screaming for mercy as she is lashed dozens of times, this is the fate that awaits mother-of-two Meriam Ibrahim who has been sentenced to death in Sudan for marrying a Christian.

Meriam could be given 100 lashes within days just like this woman as part of her barbaric punishment that has caused outrage worldwide, MailOnline can reveal.

Campaigners today said it could leave Meriam scarred, humiliated and with deep psychological wounds that may never heal.

Meriam is still recovering from giving birth to her daughter Maya two weeks ago in the prison in the Sudanese capital Khartoum where she has been held captive since last September.

Her son Martin, 20 months, has been in custody with her the whole time too.

Meriam, 27, a doctor, was put on death row after being convicted of apostasy and adultery by a strict Islamic court.

Her case has attracted the condemnation of the governments of Britain, the US and the Netherlands who have branded her treatment as 'barbaric'.

The Sudanese government appeared to be on the verge of agreeing to releasing Meriam last week under the growing international pressure - but did a dramatic U-turn.

It is now waiting for the outcome of her appeal, which will be within the next week or two.

International human rights organisation REDRESS told MailOnline that pressure needed to be maintained on Sudan to make sure that Meriam is freed.

Lutz Oette, of REDRESS, said: 'This may well be the fate that awaits Meriam unless her appeal is successful. The video shows how flogging violates the dignity of its victims who are more often than not women.

'REDRESS calls for an end to this practice, which is cruel, inhuman and degrading.'

The footage of the flogging was originally filmed in December 2010 and shows the woman wearing a full hijab in a public area surrounded by policemen in blue uniforms as a crowd of men look on.

She is clearly distressed and is seen holding up her hands as she is told: 'We’ll jail you for two years if you don’t bend down and sit on the ground'.
